The Selkie by yaamas Selkies are gentle creatures which are seals by day but transform into beautiful men and women when they shed their skins. If someone hides their seal skin while they are transformed, the selkie will settle and become their spouse, even having children with humans. However, they will always long for the sea, and if they find their seal skins again they will return without a second thought.
